apathetic (adj)
showing or feeling no interest, enthusiasm, or concern.

That's exactly what Forest was; apathetic.

As in, uncaring,
uninterested,
unenthusiastic.
Un everything.

Introducing Forest Mela, a small town girl with one of those accents that makes you feel this inescapable need to get to know her, to understand who she is.
The only problem is that underneath that intriguing disguise, her mind tricked her into thinking she didn't care. She didn't want you as a friend. She didn't want you to know her. She didn't want you to understand her. In fact, to Forest, it would be better off for everyone if the greedy and grimy students of Lonehill High would do their best to keep the drama to themselves.
Unfortunately for her, teenagers will be teenagers.

Cue Annabelle Lana.

When Annabelle meets her new partner for the upcoming winter vacation project, she quickly learns just how far Forest's apathy goes and how quickly a girl like that can take your heart and rip it into two without a second glance. As the two work together, Anna working and Forest sleeping, they quickly learn the problems of judging a book by its cover and discover more about themselves than they would prefer.
