Jonathan Drusk  has never really been much of a kid person, but when a special someone makes him promise that he will take in a child, he starts his mission to make that a reality.After getting his heart pounded in multiple times from local foster agencies rejecting him, he gives up. But when he goes to visit a close relative of his, his world is stretched to the max after encountering a little child. Bringing the child into his home, he has to decide whether he should do the right thing and give it to the proper authorities or raise the child as his own.

Soon, he meets Kimmy, a quiet, mute kid who reminds him so much of his childhood best friend and is afraid there's more going on than what's on the surface. But as Kimmy slowly opens up, he learns she's just a sensitive soul like him, carrying a burden she shouldn't have to carry. (This is a realistic-as-possible story while still being fictional about foster care and the kids who are placed in care. The boys are looking to adopt a child, and they think Oliver and Jay would be the perfect fit. What'll happen to Oliver and Jay? Will Jay continue her self-destructive ways? Will the girls get adopted by the boys? Can the girls overcome their nightmares, panic attacks etc, and become 'normal' teens? And what will they do when they find out the people who want to adopt them are apart of the mafia?
