The Hair Dye Theorem states that when you complete a task of personal value, you gain a bright colored lock of hair. On the other side though, when you complete a task of negative value such as a crime, a dull colored lock appears. Joey and Kaleb are complete opposites. All Joey's life, he had gained bright golden hairs. Kaleb though has a full head of black hair. They fall in love despite this and they work to improve each other.
