Waterlock Village is a small, peaceful town by the sea, slowly being abandoned as time ticks on.
Bronwyn and her boyfriend, Jade, have both lived there as long as they can remember. Bronwyn is an untrusting and cynical girl hiding in the shadows of her house, and Jade is a loud and obnoxious but humorous man hiding behind proper-looking features and formal attire.
When a couple goes missing and is found dead in an unexplained car crash, Bronwyn won't come out of the house for anything, and Jade finds himself a little scared, and his immature jokes lessen.
However, as time goes by, people start to disappear from their homes, lights left on and cars parked in driveways.
When the authorities do nothing, both realize they're going to have to take matters into their own hands to save the people of Waterlock.
