Windmill Farriery and Sons was a family business, running in a small island on the West Coast of England since 1779. When Jonathan's wife dies in childbirth to his only child and daughter, he fears its the end of the line for his family business, as no girl has ever done farriery on island before. As a desperate attempt to save Windmill's, he trains his daughter to shoe by his side. But as his daughter grows, Jonathan finds it harder to protect his family business from the opposing views of the Island and his family. Follow Sparrow on her quest to become the first female farrier of her island, and to fight those who dont believe in her. "You're special Sparrow, and you don't even know it."
