For years there has been an urban legend surrounding the woods in the small town of Manning. Not all the woods, just a segment of a wooded tract in an area known to the residents as Redhill. It's said that these woods contained a trail that no one has ever successfully seen the end of, but it is believed that the trail leads to the house of a family of murderous cannibals. You see, there were signs along this trail warning all who dared venture down it to turn around for their own sake. There were seven of these signs, the warning of each increasing as the traveler continued along the trail. One might feel that simple signs would not be enough to dissuade a persistent trespasser, however, a group of dating teens would soon find that the signs were not the only thing to be weary of in the woods of Redhill.Complete

Its Leah again here to rant about how obsessed I am with the new kid from NYC. He has such a bad boy vibe, not to mention all the rumors floating around town about why he got sent here. We don't get a lot of excitement around here in this small town. I spend most of my time as a ball of anxiety, but painting helps. My little sister Mia is like therapy when she sits down and paints with me. She is such a little angel. It seems like there's Never anything exciting, until the one day there was. After that day it became ritualistic and the secrets started to come out one traumatic event at a time Sincerely, Leah Brauner. This story is about a high school girl that has a crush on the new kid that just came to town from New York with a dark backstory. Not only does she have a new crush in town but there are a bunch of other secrets that have been coming to light with every sunrise the town sees. This town might be small but boy is there a lot of drama. The town police don't know what's worse, the splayed out animals or the missing high school girls. Leah doesn't know what to think as the town she knew as her home falls to shambles. Will she fall with the town or will she run away with the mystery man she has a secret obsession with.
