"So you have a life threatening disease that could kill you?" Caroline asked for clarification on what I said.

  "Well yeah I guess so." I said with a chuckle. She stared at me in shock at how lightly I took this matter. 

   "B-but isn't there...a cure or something? How is this even possible? Werewolves don't get sick!" She exclaimed with sadness and concern.

   "I don't understand it either. I was just born this way. My Aunt Ronnie hasn't really told me much about it." I replied with a sigh and continued," I'm a werewolf but I lack the ability to shift. I can't even communicate with my wolf like a normal werewolf. I don't even think I have one."

   "So you're not a normal werewolf. There is a chance that i might lose you. And there's nothing I can do about it."Caroline stated more than asked. She stared at the ceiling  and I watched as a tear fell down her face. 

   "I don't think there was anything anyone could do." I replied. I stared at the ceiling as a tear of my own fell down my face. Why me?
