Just a fluff piece detailing what it was like for Xena and Gabrielle just starting out in their travels together with all the changes they were having to get used to suddenly being a duo on the road. Arguments are bound to happen, and issues will arise. How do they resolve them?
Set between the first few episodes of the show, when they were just getting used to each other's company. No explicit lesbian material as I believe to begin with, they really were just friends. Albeit, friends with so much more potentially between them than the average friendship would be. It is also entirely from Gabrielle's point of view... Enjoy!

Not liking the idea, Xena tells her that the title rightfully belongs to Gabrielle. After learning of the option for them both to rule as queen's together, Xena gives in and agrees to the compromise. However the requirements for two women becoming co-queens of the Amazons turns out to involve much more than what Gabrielle was expecting.
