Just a fluff piece detailing what it was like for Xena and Gabrielle just starting out in their travels together with all the changes they were having to get used to suddenly being a duo on the road. Arguments are bound to happen, and issues will arise. How do they resolve them?
Set between the first few episodes of the show, when they were just getting used to each other's company. No explicit lesbian material as I believe to begin with, they really were just friends. Albeit, friends with so much more potentially between them than the average friendship would be. It is also entirely from Gabrielle's point of view... Enjoy!

These flashes of the past are vivid and haunting: moments of joy, fear, and loss, but no clear answers about who they were. With each flashback, they struggle to reconcile their current identity with the growing shadow of their past self. Faces appear that they instinctively trust or fear without knowing why, and places feel familiar, yet foreign. The line between their present and past begins to blur, drawing them into a quest to uncover the truth about their former life, who they used to be, and why they were chosen to inhabit this new body.

Gabrielle wonders how this can be possible and decides not to believe it. But when more strange things begin to happen that point to that possibility. Gabrielle can't help but get her hopes up. She begins searching for answers. When she hears rumors that the resurrected Xena has gone back to her warlord ways, Refusing to believe that Xena would do that and knowing that everything about the whole situation is very suspicious, Gabrielle sets out to uncover the whatever is really going on and to find the truth behind the mysterious circumstances surrounding the supposedly dead Xena.Complete

After the events of the first story the village must deal with the fallout that follows. All seems calm until Gabrielle gets word about some of the other tribes have heard about the village and the events that happened there. The various tribes state that they're holding a summit between all the village's and request for Gabrielle to come as queen and bring some emissaries from the newly discovered secret Sapphire Snow Owl Tribe to explain some of the rumors that have been going around. But during the summit tensions between the different groups there escalate. As queen, Gabrielle tries to restore order before things get out of hand. But after a tragic event happens during the summit, the various tribes blame another. This sparks an all out war amung the whole amazon nation. It's up to Gabrielle, Xena and their amazon allies who oppose the war, to put an end to the violence and bloodshed before it completely destroys the Amazon's for good.
