The Music of the Night {Hamilton/Phantom of the Opera}

John was abandoned as a child for his horrid appearance, and has been completely shunned by the world. The only true kindness he has ever known was from a good friend of his; George. When George was a teen, he found John in a circus and took pity on him. George took John to the opera house he was living in while going through his training. John hid in the cellar for years, writing and filling his mind up with thoughts and dreams about what he dreamt of doing... if only he didn't look the way he did. He longed to teach the world of his music, but no one would listen. He heard music everywherre. In everything. over the years, John took the name of the Opera Ghost and the Phantom. One day, a young man entered the opera house. He took lessons in dance, but The Phantom heard beauty in his voice. This young boy's name was Alex, and he was recently orphaned and lived with George and his son, Lafayette. Keeping himself hidden, The Phantom taught Alexander to sing. Alex's voice grew over the years, as did his appearance. When the new managers come in, Thomas and Madison, they laugh and mock the ghost. This infuriates him, but he is not the only one upset with the new managers. King George has always been the main attraction, but when the Phantom wants the managers to see Alex's talent, the Opera Ghost drives King away, and opens the chance for Alexander. The Schuylers have always been linked with the Opera house, and when Alex recognizes Eliza, old sparks jump back to life. Still, from the shadows, The Phantom watches. He grows more in love with Alex, more controlling of him, more jealous... More dangerous.
