"May I join you?" He sat down before I even said anything, I looked at him and carried on with what I was doing. "Want to hear a fun fact?" "My sister used to work at this place, she loved working here, she met the people she loved here" He said while looking around the place. "I wasn't ready you know? Like she was here and now she is just gone. Forever" I let out a sarcastic laugh Me" I know what you mean" I ordered four more tequilas, and paid for them. "The accent" I nodded Me" Well I'm from Cape Town but I moved to England when I was 6 years old with my Aunt." He also got up from his chair "Enjoy your vacation" I shrugged Me" I'm actually here for a funeral and my brother is getting married two weeks after that" He laughed "Isn't there a movie about that?" I laughed too "There is, I really have to go. "Its like you built our relationship with lies." He muttered in disdain and tears shamelessly fell down his cheeks. "What did you expect? I couldn't have told you everything from the beginning." I cried and listened to my heart beat slowly. "We've been together for months. You could've told me sooner!" He grimaced and turned away. "How could I? You can't easily slip these things into a conversation." I sat up and fiddled with my fingers. I was scared that he'd leave me, just like my mother did. "It isn't about slipping it into conversation easily. Its about it being the topic of the conversation. For fucks sakes, you make an excuse for everything!" I hated when he yelled at me. Tears threatened to pour out of my eyes, but I refused to cry. Too much was going on for me to waste my time crying. "You're fucking dying Elias! This is shit you don't leave out when you're dating someone!" "Its not that serious." I argued, but it was a lie. It was serious. Very serious. My heart could give up on me at any moment. I watched as he shook his head in disappointment before leaving and slamming the hospital door shut. Trapped
I watched as he walks closer to me making take a step back, his green eyes has darken and filled with rage I continue to step back but was soon stopped by the wall I started to tremble in fear. " Wanna say that again love?" He says towering over me, I couldn't speak I opened my mouth but nothing came out he was going to hurt me " Love.. I don't like to repeat myself I'm not a very patient man but if you don't give me an answer there is going to be blood on this floor and it's not going to be mine" he says calmly I couldn't hold back tears no more "You can't just come and own me like some piece of property!" I sobbed looking everywhere else but him I spoke up again " I'm not yours and never will be-" I was cut of by a hand gripping around my neck lifting me off the ground my hands immediately started trying to pull off his hand around my neck, but he didn't budge. " who said you had a choice" he says looking deep into my eyes, I slowly felt my throat closing up I tried harder to get his hand away but he was too strong I started to get less and less air "I'm going to say this once so listen close" my lungs start to burn as he leans in my ear " you're mine and mine only " He says before dropping me onto the ground I fell on my knees breathing greedily for air..... Alani Jones has a terrible past that is wanted to keep in the dark but that doesn't last when she finds out that her best friend's brother, has his eye on her, weather she likes it or not she is his and no one can tell him different.

*WARNING STORY MAY BE TRIGGERING * She's black and mexican. He's a white boy who prefers to date white girls ONLY. He isn't against other races so he says it's just his preference. His dad is the main person concerned about the future Luna skin color. His abusive dad threatens to kill his mate if she's of color so is his preference in dating based on avoidance of conflicts ? The moon goddess doesn't give him a mate based on what his father will condone. When he meets his black and Mexican mate... he hurts her, bullies her, and most importantly Rejects her. Rejection from your mate can feel and lead to death of your wolf. At first she thinks he's just scared and doesn't take his rejected too hard but it still hurts. At a high school party he gets intoxicated with his friends and tends to find someone to bring upstairs to have fun with. Your typical fuck boy. His mate comes to the party and he brings her outside to apologize speaking based off his true emotions. Unfortunately later he won't let her think that was him showing his vulnerable side. He takes her virginity that night just to turn around early in the morning and treat her like she was just a piece of meat to him. He makes sure that she leaves the house feeling worthless to her alpha mate. Little does he know she's got a thing for revenge and tends to go too far. How far will she take the disrespect and lack of feeling loved? Is he always the bad guy ? Or is she just naïve and confused. *WARNING STORY MAY BE TRIGGERING* Intentions of this book: To bring light of the darkness of generational racism. Show light of The journey of a person of color in finding self love when you're not the definition of today's beauty standard. Overcoming racism that is taught from older generations not to just be a rebel but to make changes to the future because we are better as one who all bleed the same color.
