Fight like Hell: A Tower Defense X and NIKKE fanfic
A forgotten weapon lies dormant within the surface, its master and enemies long gone, its purpose now redundant. But now a new threat surges, plunging humanity into near-extinction and driven underground. Will it be humanity's lethal protector? Or its Eradicator? All it knows, however, is that it will fight like hell. [Read this before continuing to story] This is a prequel to my other NIKKE book, which is currently in hiatus at the moment. The MC in this book will be introduced later into the main one very late in the future (it will not be in the next chapter as that is too soon). It will implement a bit of lore from Tower Defense X, but it will also contain some headcanons and alternative lore to match both Nikke and TDX timelines. And if you're wondering why I'm in a very much inactive state in Wattpad, I had been inexcusably grinding various games that I decided to drop Wattpad for a very long time. It was another day, another night, out and about to save his neighborhood from small crimes or helping an old lady cross the streets or even climbing a tree to get a cat on a branch. It's been 10 months since Dante debut as the friendly neighborhood Spiderman, from kids to elderly knowing his name as the protector of New York. A boy blessed with the powers of a spider after an incident during a school science trip. Having trouble juggling the ever spiraling chaos called a normal life, being a Highschool student while being Spiderman. Stressed out from his responsibility, he decided to try out that game his friend has been begging him to play, The Goddess of Victor: Nikke. So one night, on his usual outing he downloaded the game and booted it up, but then he got sucked into the game. Leaving his phone spinning on the rooftop before flopping down where the flickering light of the game glitches out before going black. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ A/N: So this is another idea I had, this spawned because I haven't seen Spiderman and Nikke fanfic so I decided to make this. This is a story about a game called "Goddess of Victory: NIKKE" highly recommend it. Tried it, and now it's my favourite game. So, I shall be hopping into it! The setting is as follows: *Ehem* post apocalyptic world, women turned into cyborgs, a single Commander tasked with saving humanity. It has everything you could ever hope to expect from such a story- Eeexcept. This one Commander, the one who's supposed to be the upstanding citizen who does no wrong, the infallible hero who snatches victory from the jaws of defeat?... He's really just a shit talking bastard named Zero... Ah and speaking of shits... He has absolutely none to give really... Aaand yet despite that all, he seems to be the only one that's been able to make any sort of headway against the enemy that's been fought for over a dam century. Gee. I wonder why? Perhaps it's because of the fact that he doesn't give a shit about anything that allows him to disregard all the social and political fluff of this world and... just treat his team like people. Now ain't that some shit?

Humanity has struggled to survive ever since the robotic threat known as the Raptures invaded and took over the surface of planet earth. The only hope humanity has against these mechanical monstrosities are the Nikkes, the Goddesses of Victory, highly advanced combat androids that far surpass humans in all aspects of combat. However humanity views them as expendable tools that can easily be replaced despite all of them having human levels of thinking. Two such individuals however wish to help the Nikkes in their battle against the Raptures. The first the grandson of the company CEO that launched humanity's last functioning satellite and son of the Tetra Line CEO. The other a Commander who will go to great lengths to support his Nikkes while fighting on the surface. Utilizing the technology left behind by Kurenosuke Hiden, these two men will jump to the sky in hopes of reaching a better future for both Humans and Nikkes!
