No this has nothing to do with Death Note. It was based on a Tumblr post that asked people to write a story in a world where people could see each others' death days but not their own. Meaning that everyone can see how much time other people have till their death. But unfortunatelly no one can see their own dying day.

The cost of living will not increase more than 0.3%. 5. At birth, every citizen is required to receive a vaccine. This will prevent disease and early death. Failure to comply will result in death. I'm stuck. Nowhere to go, no way out. I just have to sit here and hope whoever I get sold off to is going to at least give me some freedom. Though I highly doubt it. The way things are going for me here anyway, it's not like I have any hope at surviving, let alone living. Whoever get's me is probably going to be worse than here and I can not stop it. Can I?
