Katana.

Katana was only ten years old when she found out she was a vampire. She'd always found herself different to the other girls, she didn't want to play with Barbies, she'd loved the streets and all that came along with it. When Katana turned sixteen her mother was brutally murdered and she was left alone as her father was never around.

At 22 years old she was in college doing science to get a better understanding of herself,she could be in the sunlight and not burst into flames, she could eat a large medium rare burger and fries with sweet tea and not feel the need to drink blood.
Rome wasn't your typical drug lord either, he'd ruled over the state of California for years after his father was killed. Now running the streets wasn't easy, you had to know who and what was on the streets first.

Rome and Katana were from two different worlds but she knew the drug game from young, her Uncle who unbeknownst to her was working with Rome's father had told her everything she needed to know and who she could be in contact with.

This isn't your typical Vampire story nor is it your typical Thug Love story. This is whatever it wants to be.
