Aysel Morenduer never realized her life could change in an instant. An instant involving a young, small ten year old boy sentenced to death for something he couldn't control, something he didn't ask for. She hides him, convinced she can save his life, no matter how dangerous, then everything changes when a danger strikes, and she reveals a strange power that, much like the boy, could get her burned at the stake.
