When she gets in an accident, she loses her parents and her memory. Which caused her to forget everything up until the accident.
At sixteen something is happening to her and she doesn't know what. She thinks she's going crazy. Sean's bullying just throws her off the edge. With his words 'Find a hole, crawl init and die.' imprinted in her mind, she goes away to do just that.
Two years later, with a new family. And Payton isn't Payton anymore, she's Alexis Jordan. A girl the exact opposite of Payton. Everything has changed about her, not just her looks. Nobody recognizes her, which is just what she wants. Ever since she found out about werewolves, she believed she didn't need a mate, nor does she want one.
