"Hey, uh, Ethan?" Tyler called as he enters Ethan's office. "Hey, Tyler. How may I help you?" Ethan asked as he turns and looks up at him from his rolly chair. "I was wonder if you wanted to collaborate because we're learning how to do gymnastics moves and stuff like that during all of my gym classes tomorrow. I mean if you have can and have time." Tyler asked. "I could get Amy to fill in for me tomorrow." Ethan mumbled more to himself than to Tyler before looks up at Tyler. "Will it be all day?" Ethan asked. "Mhm." Tyler hummed with a nod. "Okay, sure. That sounds like fun." Ethan said as he pushes his glass up more on his face. "Okay well. I'll see you tomorrow at eight thirty?" Tyler asked as he points at Ethan and Ethan nods. "I'll see you then." Ethan said with a grin making Tyler grin back at him with a nod before heading out the door of Ethan's office, out the other door of his and Amy's classroom, and out into the hallways.

"So what's your type?" "What do you mean?" I pause, looking up from my book to meet the eyes of my dear friend. "Type of what?" She shakes her head with a chuckle. Her head then jerks to her boyfriend, busy trying to figure out a solution in his work. "What type of guy do you like?" "I don't really have one." I reply. "Come on, there must be something a guy does that catches your attention." My eyes casually glance around the courtyard, trying to figure out a quick response to her question. But then I hear a voice speak just to the right of us, Professor Abel happily talking to Mr. Levine. "Well?" "Older." I mumble. "Someone older." "Just older?" His deep grey eyes soften slightly in the sunlight. "Someone... colder too." "So you want someone as bad as Professor Abel?" My friend jokes poking my side with her fingers. I snap my head back to her, surprised at her question. To brush off the embarrassment I shrug my shoulders, faking a smile but my heart is pounding furiously. "Haha, very funny." It's as if our conversation has been leaked when my eyes rest back on the tall individual. The grey swirls are staring right back at me, his colleague oblivious of his wandering eyes. His expression is stern but in the light it seems as though his lips are curled up, making my stomach do a flip. "My type." I whisper with a small smile. - When her enemy of a teacher becomes something more than just a person she hates - Completely fictional! 🤗 Please vote~ #3 - high (3/10/2024) #1 - student (7/10/2024) #1 - enemies (1/11/2024) #5 - hate (18/11/2024) #1 - lovers (23/11/2024) #12 - heartache (04/01/2025) #4 - teacher (02/03/2025)

It's been thirteen years since Tyler has seen Mikey for more than just a handful of minutes in a passing visit. A ten year age difference hadn't stopped her crush, not after the fateful day he'd saved her life; he'd been home for Christmas, visiting his sister Val, who's married to Tyler's older brother, Reggie. Val had given birth to their first baby on Thanksgiving, and that Christmas was the first time Mikey was coming home to see him. As Tyler had been leaving the house, she'd slipped on the ice, hitting her head and knocking herself out. If Mikey hadn't found her when he did, rushed her to the emergency room, she would have died of hypothermia. That's when her obviously unreciprocated crush had started. She'd known him all her life. She was nothing more than his best friend's kid sister, the one he barely saw since making it to the N.B.A. and having spent the last ten years playing out in California. But he's home now, having been traded to Washington, the same city Tyler just happens to be going to school in. At twenty-one can she finally catch his attention? Can she finally tell him about her crush? The one she's had for the last five years. Will he ever see her as anything other than his best friend's little sister?
