This story follows Nerida and Ember through their life being demigods. They never knew life could be like this.
Always feeling alone after her mother was murdered Nerida never really had a home. Her step dad never cared. Finally she had enough and left.
Ember was always different. No one in her family looked like her. Then add finding powers on top of that and a step dad who threw her out. You get one big mess.
What happens when a life hangs in the balance of everything?
