When Dan acquires 'magical' powers to tell the future in his dreams, he starts freaking starts to freak out about simple things. Phil leaves the house for less than an hour? Probably gone forever. Phil worries about going on a roller coaster? He'll probably hate me if I make him go on it. Dan then accidentally says something that could change them both forever, and with that: Phil starts to see how much he feels the same about Dan as well.
