This is a short story I wrote for my English assessment. Lilly's not a normal child but then her family is by no means normal as well. This is the day that the world will burn if its not for Lilly and her friends. Was Lilly really training all her life for this one fight or was something bigger planed for her.

In the Blood Moon Rising pack, the Luna recently has given birth to twins, Blake and Kole Michelson. In a enemy pack, Silver Moon Pack, Samantha Rose has yet to shift on her 16th birthday. 2 years later and she is the omega of her cruel pack. Her father, mother, brothers, sister, and her whole pack abuse Samantha for being different. Little did everyone know that the moon goddess herself had a plan for Samantha. What happens when Samantha meets her mate and shifts for the first time? "Alex," he responds. His eyes look over my body. "Your are so beautiful princess. Please let us mark you. Please," he begs. "Alex, that is enough." I look into Kole's eyes to see them back to normal. I saw everyone flinched at that and Drake had this look of hurt. "I apologised Elly! Please give me a chance. We're mates after all" he pleaded. "We. Are. Not. Mates" I said angrily. "Do I smell like your mate?" I questioned knowing he had no answer for that. "You're hiding it" "Really!" I looked surprised but that made Drake angry. "Let's go for sparks then" he tried to grabbed my hand but Josh pushed me behind him. "Are you trying to touch someone else's mate, Alpha?" Josh asked. "Josh!" Others shouted and Drake growled loudly, his eyes turning black. And he looked at me with those eyes. "Just remember Elly! I asked you nicely" with that he turned and stormed out of the library, others following him behind. ________________________________________ Elly was a quiet and smart girl who had a promising future as a doctor. Her mother being a famous and respected doctor in the werewolf society she had only one dream and it was to become a doctor like her mom. Being a Luna was something she never wanted and she didn't expect her mate to be the future Alpha of her pack, her enemy. What else she could do other than hiding when she knew he was not going to let her go no matter what. The future Alpha Drake waited his whole life for his mate and it only made him angry when he figured out that his mate was hiding from him. Flower Girls
Caroline loves her new friend Lily. They do almost everything together. But as time goes on, it becomes more and more apparent that Lily is not everything she seems to be. Where did Lily come from, what is she hiding, and what's the real reason for their intense friendship? For those of you who are already familiar with my writing, I should let you know that this short story is nothing like anything else I've written. I wrote it as a birthday gift for a ten-year-old girl. She devoured the whole thing in couple of hours and when she finished, she told me she loved it. This ten-year-old girl is very girly, she likes unicorns and rainbows and magical worlds, but she also likes Sci-Fi and scary, threatening bad guys. As a result, the genre of this book is quite niche, and it may not be appropriate for every ten-year-old. There are some confrontations I would categorise as "mild peril." Spoiler Alert: If you're a parent looking for something for a child of a similar age, there are two deaths in this book and so you may want to check it out first because I recognise every child is different. (The girl I wrote is for said they weren't graphic deaths, and she was fine with both in the context of the story.)
