The Mermaid kingdoms are in a war with the Captors. Horrible villains that wish to take and control the Mermaid lands. 14 year old Delilah is a regular human- or so she thought. She's actually a mermaid with a curse. She's forced to live on land and as Delilah gets older she starts to get the power of controlling water, and turning into a mermaid. But the Captors are after her, wanting to catch her and use her as a asset in the War.

Just like her brother she has dyslexia but can read Greek somehow and she can hold her breath underwater for long time and she doesn't speak a lot. There's a reason or that. See their mother is mortal but their father is the G-D of the sea. But all her twin brother Percy knows is that he thinks their father left them.
