Harry and Louis have been together for almost 3 years when World War II begins. Louis tries for months to convince Harry not to go but he insists, telling him that he has to do something.
He has to help.
It's now been almost a year since Harry has come home, and Louis begins to fear the worst when it's revealed that hundreds of thousands of Allied soldiers are still trapped on Dunkirk beach.

They wait for salvation from promised Destroyer ships to bring them back to England, but German troops are near and flying in the air looking for anything with a red,white and blue flag flying. A soldier with the name of Harry is just as stranded as any other boy on the beach, but a presence of a nurse who is also among them could change him before his ride back home.
