Scarlet McGee has always loved horses and she has always been a happy cowgirl that lived in Austin, Texas. She has awesome friends and amazing parents. If you looked at her life you'd think it's perfect. All of a sudden though her dad dies and she and her mom are moving to Bridgetown, Australia one week after his funeral. Her mom got an amazing job offer that she couldn't refuse. Scarlet now is moving to a whole new continent. What sucks the most though, other than leaving her friends, she will be starting a new school for her senior year. Scarlet is so nervous and just not extremely happy as of the moment. Se gets a job shortly after they move at the Nelson Ranch. She quickly becomes friends with Anna, Carter, Andrew and Carly, not to mention Mr. and Mrs. Nelson are crazy about Scarlet. 
  One day when Anna and her go out riding they come across a beautiful horse. The horse is wild and Scarlet is determined to win her over and tame her. With her busy schedule of working and winning over Lacy time flies. Before Scarlet knows she is starting school and that's when things start getting tricky, weird, and just plain out interesting. She wasn't fond of the idea of Jamie getting a horse and she especially wasn't fond of the idea that Jamie wanted to race. Jamie's dream was to become a jockey and little did she know that Frankel was born to race. Jamie started doing races on him and meeting tons of people. She made friends and also made some rivals. Jamie's biggest rival was Samantha Waters. Samantha was the best jockey around. But when Jamie beats Samantha in a bet, things start going down hill. Samantha gets jealous. Will Jamie be able to beat Samantha in their biggest race yet? Or does Samantha have a plan to make Jamie lose? I want to give credit @RachelLouiseJones because she made this wonderful cover for me! :) Rated - PG Note: This book won't be completely accurate because I don't know a whole bunch about the racing industry. So, there may be a few things I have in here that don't happen in the racing industry but it's not about how accurate it is. This book is meant to be fun and enjoyable to read. She also lost interest in riding horses, too until she meets the three most snobby, rich kids named Madison, Bonnie, and Lucy, who think they are better than everyone when it comes to riding horses, but Rose sure doesn't think she is. Rose thinks she can beat them, so Rose challenges her and tells her that she can beat her, so they make a deal, but the one think Rose didn't think of was that she stopped ridding because of her mom's accident and that means she has to get back on a horse. At first she doesn't think she can until a beautiful grayish white mustang comes to her dad's farm, who Rose names later as Stardust. Rose finally realizes that she can do this alone, she's going to need help from her father to help her get back on and also have help from the new cute boy, Austin who's helping for his community service. At first he doesn't want to be there, but eventually finds a reason to stay. Rose has had a good life up until the day of the accident, but now she's got to face loss, and heartbreak, but she's got to learn to get back in the race. This story holds romance, family, trust, understanding the past, and conquering your fears. *Read to find out more, I know it may sound boring from the description, but it's really not. I hope you try to read it and see that it's really good, and touching sorta. So just try to love it.*
