Alice Hanson is just an ordinary girl, living in a ordinary town, trying to find love to brighten up her drab and dreary life. None of the boys that live in the godforsaken town of Saxis think that Alice is worth a second glance, but then a boy by the name of Jake Langstown and his family moves into town and flips Alice's world topsey-turvey. Jake finds all the good things in Alice and makes her relize that she is beautiful and they start to date. But Jake is a hot kid and all of the girls at school pounce on him, making Alice feel jealous. When Alice gets on Jake for talking to the hottest girl in school, Mason Anderson, they split up and Jake falls into the manicured hands of Mason.
