So is he home?" She asks after a moment of silence.

"Hold on," I say and hop off of my bed, looking out the window. Before I can get to my front window, facing Zander's house, I see something out of the corner of my eye.  

A person in the house right next to me. Staring at me through my side window. This might not sound so weird, but nobody has lived in that house for over 10 years. 

I let out a scream and fall to the floor. I hear a chuckle from above, forgetting that I always leave my side window open.

I let out a groan of my head hitting the ground and stand back up, looking at the mysterious guy.
