We all know the story of Rapunzel. How she was locked away in a tower until a handsome prince rescued her from her solitude and the women who kidnapped her. This story is similar in some ways but unique in another. A father who refuses to allow his daughter freedom and keeps her at home. A boy who's life is not prince like but has the heart of one. Now lets go forth to "My Rapunzel".

I've been very depressed and heartbroken so, what better than to create a story out of it? "This is my life" details a protagonist going through her teenage years up until the age of 21. Through love, friendship, grief, and heartbreak, you will get to witness what it's like being a young black girl trying to conquer the world. I hope anyone going through either heartbreak, grief, insecurities, mental health declines are able to read this and know that they're not alone! Life can be so ugly at times, but I promise things always get better. Not your typical romance or teen fiction book! Marinette as Rapunzel
Marinette is the title character of Rapunzel in this story but instead of being trapped in just a tower, it is an entire manor surrounded by a magical curtain to keep it hidden from view. She has been trapped there her entire life by Lila until a chance encounter with the outside world makes her want more. And she sets out to discover why she was raised by Lila(Lila is the Mother Gothel of the story). I have seen other Rapunzel stories done for Marinette where it is the version from the Disney movie Tangled but I decided to write this story from the Barbie as Rapunzel Movie. I also made Marinette the daughter of Felix and Bridgette who were the precursors to Marinette and Adrien for Ladybug and Chat Noir in Miraculous Ladybug. The original story had Bridgette as Ladybug and infatuated with Felix but they decided to scrap these two in favor of Marinette and Adrien.Complete

Poor repunzel sitting in her tower. No friends no family, just a witch who's kept her locked away. It all seems too familiar. Oh that's right because that's my life! After my parents died one month ago I was sent to my live with aunt and my cousin in small town America. Now, don't get me wrong she's not a witch its someone else who decided to make my life utterly suck making me want to stay in my tower. Until the boy next door comes knocking on my widow which happens to be right across from mine. Can this Prince Charming save me from the tower? Hiccup and Rapunzel have hard lives. Hiccup is abused by his father, lost his mother at a young age, has a medical problem and he also bullied and has no friends sadly. Rapunzel is adopted and doesn't even no it, she is barely aloud outside when she gets home from school, and she has magical hair that she has to keep hidden from everyone except her adoptive mother. One day, they both decide to run away from home and when they do they bump into each other. Many dangers are ahead of them. They discover secrets they never knew before. The main question is, why did the run away.? To find out, you must read. This is a Hiccunzel story. Credit for characters goes to Disney and Dreamworks. Also Hiccup looks like the hiccup from how train your dragon 2.Complete

"Let's go to the park then." He was a bit more excited when I agreed. I paused, I wasn't supposed to go past the porch. Even if I am starting to break rule I'm not ready for that. "I can't leave the home." I answered truthfully. "That's fine we can hang here." He smiled so sweetly at me. Daisy has more in common with Rapunzel than she'd like to admit. She's always locked up in the house. The only person in her life is her mother and even then she's always gone. To her it feels like she's in tower left to be alone watching the others outside of it live freely. When they move from Texas to Missouri Daisy hopes that things would be different and go the way she wanted. Her dreams were dashed though when the same rules were intact. Leaving the young girl lonely. For her the taste of freedom was almost impossible . That is all until Nathan begin to sneak his way into her life without her mothers knowledge. New friends are made and rules begin to become nothing . Daisy begins to live the life she always wanted to but her mothers dark secrets begin to rise.Complete
