“You want me to use a pick-up line?!” Janie choked, putting down her fork and reaching for her water bottle.
“Pick-up lines don’t work!” Bess scoffed, patting her best friends back, “They only embarrass you. What kind of Flirt Expert are you?”
“No, pick-up lines don’t work when guys use them. They make them sound like ass wholes who only want to get into your pants. When girls do it, it’s different. It makes them seem cute, fun, and outgoing.” I shrugged, “And who says I’m a flirt expert anyways?”
“Only everyone.” Janie rolled her brown eyes, and shook her head. “Face it Kelsey, you can get any guy you want. At first we thought it was because you were hot.”
“But you’re not THAT hot.” Bess interrupted.
“Thanks for making me feel so damn attractive.” I muttered, playing with my straw.
“That’s when we saw you flirt with Mr. Hot-Teacher” Janie continued, ignoring my comment. “If you are that good at flirting, you are an expert.”
“So, if you think I’m such an expert, why are you questioning my advice? “ I raised an eye brow and took a sip of my smoothie.
“Because Pick-up lines don’t work.” Bess said in a “duh” tone.
“Please Kelsey,” Janie pouted, “if you give me legit advice I’ll give you twenty dollars right now.”
