There's a girl.

She is in the playground off to the far side of the oval he is running on. It's quaint in comparison to the one up front of the park, consisting of only a few play equipment that include a slide, swings and small monkey bars. She's climbing the slide.

Nate watches in bewilderment as she reaches for the top of the little red roof and swings herself up, although clumsily. Unsteadily the girl rises to her feet.

April is new to town. She's fun and quirky and a personality. Basically everything that he is not. However in a chance encounter, something clicks between the two that acts as a catalyst for their burgeoning relationship.

Nate cannot help but to fall.

Hard.
