Pain, it's addictive. Like a gun, all I need is a trigger before I shoot and cause harm.
To my dear readers, this is a topic I feel most strongly about and how not many people are aware that the words they say can trigger someone to just pick up the blade and start cutting. It's a serious problem and the victims are not just the ones that are self-harming... it may affect the people around them too. So please... if you know or suspect any close to you that is self-harming... all they need is a friend, a companion... to listen to their troubles and let them pour it all out. Instead of just telling them to stop this 'nonsense' or habit... try to view it from their perspective and help them in whatever way you can. Thank you.
