A collection of poems and song lyrics. All original. Some prompted through in-class assignments most of these were written from 13-16 years old during a time that I lived in my own mind. I wanted to live in a fantastical version of my reality to avoid trauma. Some of these poems romanticize my harmful coping mechanisms, because that's what I did at that time. I started writing poems because I had to get my emotions out in some other way and poems helped because I got a deeper meaning from them and had to put lessons I learned the hard way in my writings. I feel as if these were meant for those who could under stand my pain and anger at those who did me wrong. I don't care what you think about my writing because it's part of me and this is how i'm choosing to show you who I am. I was bullied. I did have my heart broken. I have came back stronger.
