The Silent Princess
Zelda and Link have finally reunited after the Calamity, and there's a lot to do to restore Hyrlue to its former glory. On their adventures together, Link and Zelda get closer than they ever were before. Could this finally be the Zelink we've all been waiting for? So we all want Zelink to happen, don't we, so I made this short story just as a substitute until it really happens (probably never). The legend of Zelda: Breath of the wild ( BOTW )
"... Open your eyes ..." And find yourself walking along side the new hero and the hero of twilight in a world that's not your own. Learn to fight with swords, Bows and farmers pitchforks as you defeat enemies in hardcore combat. Scale steep mountain's and paraglide down caneon's. Teach yourself to adapt to the game environment and survive extreme weather. Fish with your bare hands. Finish temple's and trials. Eat lot's of apple's. Maybe kiss a few hero's. You never know. Time has passed. Hyrule is getting rebuilt. Zelda on the other hand is not quite sure what to do. She is no longer a princess, She's a queen with responsibilities. A dark force is looming. Old friends are getting rediscovered but that boy. That man. Link. There's an unfinished story with him. This is my take on the universe. There will be new characters that aren't canon. In modern day Hyrule, Link is an orphan who lives in an orphanage. Because he is meant to be the Hero of Hyrule, his bunkmates get jealous and bully him for it. When Link enters first grade, he befriends Zelda, the most beautiful girl in Hyrule, and eventually falls in love with her. The two become inseparable, but everything changes when Zelda hits puberty; she vanishes and doesn't show up at school. Link tries to contact and find her, but no luck. Five years later, Link is a 16-year-old man with severe depression and a Hero chosen by the Master Rifle. He is still in love with Zelda and thinks about her every second of his life. One day, Link saves a woman from the Yiga clan members, and that woman turns out to be Zelda. She tells him about where she has been for the past five years, and once Link finds out the truth, he dedicates his days to helping Zelda feel safe and happy again away from her selfish, rich father Rhoam and her forced fiance, Ganondorf. While Link and Zelda try to save themselves from the abuse, an evil prince from another country declares war on Hyrule in hopes of annexing the kingdom, and Link must go to war, leaving Zelda. Zelda is left alone when Link suffers from the hand of fate and she has to stay strong for her country and her son. Din and Farore have turned against Hyrule, and when Zelda makes a shaky decision, it could spell the end for Hyrule.
