For over a hundred years The people of Scarsac have lived within cities Surrounded by Impenetrable barriers. These cities are connected to one another through networks of roads and tunnels that are also protected by the barriers. It is an ideal world of safety and security.
The only problem is the ruling body is very strict with it's law and anyone who breaks the rules is exterminated with extreme prejudice.
But there is one thing that the government hates above all Atlanteans. Atlanteans are a race of magical beings that originate from the lost country of Atlantis. The are highly intelligent, and possess an affinity with magic that far surpasses the talents of humans. Geothias Harmias is a teenager attending prestigious Newvar Magic High School. A school which educates and trains young people with magical power. While Geothias certainly has some power he is nothing special. At least he wasn't until the day of his Sixteenth birthday which uncovers powers he's never known. And to make matters worse when he tells his parents of this development they reveal a shocking secret.
Geothias must go on the run from the Government that he'd lived under his entire life, all the while avoiding Atlantean forces that had miraculously allied with the government to destroy him. As forces are closing in around Geothias, he discovers some information about the fabled trident of Atlantis the very weapon whose power was used to create the barriers, the symbol of the Royal family of Atlantis, And the only thing that would restore Geothias and his family as the rightful rulers of Atlantis. But with the odds stacked against him, it is a race against time to reach the trident before the Government or the Atlantean rebels reach him.
