City Lights

Humans don't believe in magic, at least most of them don't.
Supernatural beings shouldn't show themselves to the mundanes, but sometimes it can't be helped.

Levi is a bird supernatural, his parents and friends always told him to steer away from the mundanes, that they are evil demons. But he's always been intrigued by them, there's always that one supernatural that breaks the rules, always that one that wants to be like them.

One day while flying, a different supernatural being, a real demon, attacked him. He tried to get away by flying but crashed into a tall building. Somehow he survives the damage and is found by a few teenagers his age, they take care of him while he tries to heal.

His best friend, who is also a bird, searches for him day and night. One night, he catches his scent and it leads him to the 'secret hideout' the teenagers found when they were little.
Levi and his best friend fight on if he should leave, Levi argues that he wants to stay, that it's his new home. His best friend is confused on why Levi would leave his family to live with the ones that hunted his kind down and tortured them.
Levi decides that he will not move from where he is, that he has made his decision. His best friend is torn, deciding to stay and protect the boy he knew since birth. The birds(as they call themselves) stay together through through the rough journey of being human, not able to use their wings unless they wanted to be found out. The group of teens that saved Levi promised to keep them safe for as long as they can. How long will that last?

I will not update every day or week, this story isn't my main story so I'm not gonna concentrate on it and update it as fast as the others. Once one of the other stories are completed I MIGHT work on this one often.
