It Takes Time

You know that kind of love that just sucks you in automatically, giving you no time to even take in a breath, slamming you into a new reality with a new sun and moon and stars? That's how I felt with him. He was my world, my earth. He was the forests that smelled like pine, the flowers that grew tall and beautiful, the Autumn leaves that cracked under your feet, the soft wind that blew through your hair in the summertime, the warm taste of coffee on your tongue...he was my everything, in every way.

Until something happened that eradicated his life and happiness, and broke him. Now I have to pick up the pieces and try to make him whole again.
