Katie Hyland is pretty normal girl with three best friends who she trusts endlessly and not really healthy obsession with books and fairytailes. Unfortunately, her family is far from normal. And no, they aren't vampires or werewolfs or anything supernatural. That would be nice, though. No, her family is, to put it nicely, "perfect". With the air quotes. Her older sister Emily Hyland is your tipical head cheerleader and class president with a lot of friends and a perfect body. Her boyfriend is school's own playboy Tyler Worthingon, who just happens to be only person Katie wouldn't cry for if he got hit by a train, and she has a part time modeling job. Katie wouldn't mind anything of it, if her sister isn't such a witch. Katie's younger sister, Kimmy Hyland, is one of those girls that everyone loves even though she is diffrent from everybody else. Being school's football team captain, Nick Hyland has a great future in sports in front of him. So has his twin, Lucas Hyland, who is soccer team captain. But, both Lucas and Nick never showed that they care about Katie in any way. Hell, they make her life even worse than it is. Madeline and Mathea Hyland are the youngest girls in the family. While Mathea is an extremely good ballerina, Madeline is a girl with an unearthly voice. With Katie's parents being a famous Hollywood actress and a respected businessman, and with her siblings being so "perfect", she is always in a shadow. Everything changed when a famous model Logan Hunter came to live with them for a few months. With his perfect looks and a great personality, everyone fell in love with him immediately. He showed Katie that she doesn't have to be in the shadow of her siblings. His arrival brought up some deep-buried secrets that nobody wanted to relive. He changed every single one of them. Even Katie. But, not exactly how she suspected. WARNING: I'm going to edit this story when I finish it so...if you see any mistakes please do tell.

"We said whoever eats the most pizza has to do the dare no matter how cruel or easy it is." This is just a glimpse of our sleepovers. Ivy and Autumn always drag me into some kind of trap to do their evil dares. Tonight, they used my worst weakness, food. Sighing, "fine. I'll take the dare." They cheered and high-fived as I stood in front of them, glaring. "Better not be something bad!" I blurted, making them snap out of their cheering. They looked at me with a sinister smirk. The smirk where you know their up to something. Something bad. - Meet Jade Williams. Your average girl in every single way. She uses her weekends to binge watch on Netflix and takes her time binge snacking. In no way she would be considered perfect. Yes, sometimes she is picked on every now and then but nothing to extreme. Well despite the fact she has a crush on the most unexpected person. Bryan Jones, the schools bad-boy. He's basically a emotionless, fit brick dressed up in leather. Just your typical bad boy, right? Her life changes from late nights on Netflix to possibly going out to parties because of two guys. Conner Peterson and Bryan Jones. The most anyone can do to keep her out of trouble is to pray. Not to mention the fact that her two dearest friends are two living and breathing dare making machines. PSA: this book, to say the very least, is not my proudest work. i made this when i didn't know a thing about writing, let alone writing a whole story. it's simply a book you'd read if you wanted a quick sap and not something in depth. feel free to check out my other books - they're arguably way better than this one
