He has everything perfect, a perfect family, perfect friends, perfect reputation, perfect grades, perfect... well everything. It all just leads down to one thing.

His mate dies and he admits to himself that he doesn't want a mate.

 But is that really what he meant? He runs away one night, and wants to prove everyone that you don't need a mate. 

 Will he really accomplish what he started? 

Or will he end it?  

Danger or happiness? 

Danger, for sure, is lurking ahead but happiness always comes to those who have experienced sadness, for those who haven't experienced sadness, will never experience true happiness.  

This book is about a young boy who has lost his mate, and is angry when people say you always need a mate. 

He is out on an adventure/mission to prove the whole of werewolves, that you don't need a mate.
