Brian Michaels is a pastor's son and gay. The two don't mix and for nearly four years he keeps his relationship a secret. When Brian does come out to his family, on the night of his high school graduation, they kick him out of their home and tell him to go get lost. They haven't spoken since then. Five years later Harry and Brian are still together and going strong; they work together in a bookstore and have started to make a life together. Brian gets a phone call that his dad is dying and his mom pleads for him to come to his father's bed side. Brian wants to refuse, but the thought of getting the answers to his questions proves to be too much. With the support of his Boyfriend, Brian decides to give closure a shot. The surprises in store for him, rock him to his core.
