This tale is about a boy, yes, a boy. Not a prince, nor a hero, not even a knight or a warrior; just a boy. A boy who dared to dream with his eyes closed, a boy who stared at the skies in hope of a better world. He did not have a dragon to slay, nor a villain to defeat, but he did carry his own demons, his insecurities, and self-doubt, his anxiety and a broken heart. He doubted himself in the best of times, ruined whatever got close. He was a mortal, a mortal who decided to fall in love, a mortal that in spite of the corrupted world and dark days that were to come, saw and hoped for the wonderful charms God had laid in front of his eyes.
