I exited through the side entrance of the building and stood by the manhole cover, pulling it up and out of the way. I climbed down the ladder and slid the cover back over me, shrouding myself in pitch darkness. When I got to the ground, water splashed by my feet and I turned my phone flashlight on. Ice covered most of the walls and floor, except for the small puddle I stepped in. I looked around and started walking in the right direction. It was colder in the sewers this time of year and I almost slipped on ice a few times. When I saw familiar pipes and came to what looked like a concrete wall, a small smile formed on my lips. I stood in front of it for a moment, staring at it. "Come on, Angel." I muttered to myself. It's only been two years. I doubt much has changed. I took a deep breath in and reached up to pull the pipe above the closed door. I'm a lot taller now, so I didn't have to get on my tip toes like back then. The door parted open and I walked in slowly, hearing a thud behind me when it shut closed. It was quiet in the lair as I walked around, taking it all in. Most of it looked the same, while some parts looked new. I took my beanie, scarf, and jacket off, setting them on the couch nearby. "Hello?" - **** quick content and trigger warning possibility. Regarding the fanfics that revolve around the tmnt fandom and series versions, I personally have read many that involve hard language (cursing) and depictions of violent scenes bc it's whats in the storylines of all versions of tmnt across the board and through the decades. As stated in the information for the previous book for this mini series, if anything is offensive in any such way or should be corrected, feel free to reach out and comment or PM me regarding it and I'll gladly hear you out in order to learn from the mistake I made for future reference. The main character is based off myself since I wrote this back in high school--third year in college currently 2021--as a heads up***

#3 in Ringmaster on March 27, 2019 Prolouge The conversion is quick, the history of experiments bleeding out in front of everyone. I watch as it begins to flow through him, and he shakes, his hand that's holding his gun, unsteady, and I clumsily trip over my feet in an attempt to take back away from him. I regain my balance and take a unsure but steady step towards him and put a hand on his arm, trying to gain his attention, but it's no use. I'm close enough that i see the monster wake itself from its slumber inside of Ryan. His eyes stare at me, blankly and i watch as they transition from his blue eyes to the golden eyes of a cat. I watch as his pale blonde hair begins to grow black from his head, as if someone had spilled ink on him, and it was seeping through his hair slowly. The wound he'd had heals itself, the skin repairing itself from the inside out and the bullet is pushed out and falls to the sand without a sound. "R-Ryan?" I ask him, and as if my voice had awoken him, his eyes grow aware and his eyes narrow on mine, the hand holding his gun steadying. I see the predator that has awoken in him and I struggle to keep myself composed. "Ryan, I know you're in there... Come back. I- You and I are okay. Please just... Fight it off." I whisper, so that the crowd can't hear. So that they don't alarm the monster before them... So they don't throw away their chance of getting out of this alive. "Fight it off?" Ryan asks with an uncertainty rarely found in his voice. "Yes, fight it off. I know you can do it. If you don't. All these men will get hurt." I say trying to reason with him. Trying to help him see clarity. Then, he smiles, a large grin and it seems sinister from him and he peers at me through his hair that has fallen on his face. "Did one of these men shoot me?" He asks and I am caught off guard. "Yes..." I answer him, biting my tongue before i can say more. Ryan merely looks at me and grins... Before he turns, raises his gun arm and fires.

"This is the hall bathroom," I motioned as we passed, "and this is the bedroom." "Bedroom?" Cadence clarified. "Just one? But you said I'd be staying here." I turned to see her blushing again, and had the urge to place my hand on her cheek to see if it was as warm as it looked. I didn't. "I still have to make sure you don't try anything," I explained. "You'll be staying in here. Don't worry-- it's a king sized bed." "And," Cadence began, looking anywhere but me as she took in the room, "what else does making sure I don't try anything entail?" I couldn't tell if she was trying to provoke me or not, but either way, I had made up my mind the second I determined she would stay with me exactly how keeping her here would go. "Well for starters," I told her seriously, "I'm going to need you to strip." --- Cadence Maurice wanted nothing more in the world than to have the engagement trip of her life with her fiancé, Isaiah in the beautiful city of Moscow. But all too quickly, everything was taken from her. Isaiah was shot by a man in a mask, and she was kidnapped to a desolate mansion to be interrogated about him. She thought she knew everything about her husband to-be, but the more she's questioned, the more she begins to think that maybe her sweet fiancé was the bad guy. Only, as Cadence quickly discovers, in this story, there is no good guy. Adler Ulrich, assassin by trade, and prized hitman for the dangerous Fedorov Family, thought he'd seen it all. But when he is sent to kill an enemy of the Family and finds his target using an innocent young women as a shield, he's not sure he has. When he brings the woman in for questioning instead of killing her alongside her lying fiancé, he becomes unsure of whether he's saving the blonde-haired beauty, or dooming her to a fate worse than death. I actually really hate this. Read if you wanna, I guess. It's bad though. *completed* I was frozen when the pop of the gun rang throughout the house. I wanted to close my eyes, I wanted to look away, but I couldn't. The man fell to his knees and flopped on his side, a dark red liquid quickly falling from a small hole in his head. Mark, a cut under his eye and a busted lip, looked at me full of fear and worry, immediately spotting what was wrong. Before he could say anything, the pistol fell from my hands and onto the floor, myself falling with it. Now on the floor, I wanted to cry, I wanted to scream, but nothing would come out. Over my struggle, I heard Mark grunt and a few shaky footsteps before I felt my head being propped up on something- or someone -and all I could see was Mark staring down at me in both emotional and physical pain. ~~~ Y/n never would've thought one person could twist her life into a mess. First it was playful flirting, but changes dramatically when some unwanted information floods the air. Sure to never stay in one place too long and hiding in plain sight, Y/n becomes something her child self never would have dreamt about. She may have imagined to be an actress, a famous singer, or a model, but never a criminal. -no hate towards Mark and Amy! This is just an innocent fanfiction!- ~will have the occasional typo~
