When we reach the bathtub, I shakily reach for the curtain, Peyton's hands gripping tighter. Tears stain my cheeks and I let out a shaky breath.
I yank back the curtain of the bathtub and a bloodcurdling scream escapes Peyton's mouth and my free hand muffles the scream that threatens to escape. Tears pound out of my eyes and stream down my face. I couldn't look away but Peyton was pulling me away. She pulls me out of the bathroom, this time not trying to avoid the blood.

so this is a suspenseful short story that I wrote in my creative writing class and I must say that I'm not too disappointed with it!

"You make me want to do things to you." He mumbles, his brown eyes never straying from mine. "What?" I whisper, nervous yet at the same time my heart pounds with excitement and anticipation. "Do you want to know what kind of things?" His low tone matches mine as he brings his face closer and I find myself robbed of speech due to our proximity. Taking my silence as his sign, he continues to lean closer. His lips caress my ear as he says "Things like this." Suddenly I feel something wet and thick being dumped onto my hair, soon the liquid drips down onto my shirt. Is that paint? Blue paint proceeds to slide down onto my shirt and my eyes widen when I hear Caleb howling with laughter. "Caleb fucking Carter!" We held our breath as we heard footsteps enter the dark room. My heart raced and I covered my mouth to keep from screaming as tears ran down my cheeks. Caleb sat next to me, with obvious fear in his eyes. I knew that the desk couldn't hide us for much longer and that's what scared me the most. The footsteps came closer and they grew louder by the second. I held my breath once I heard the man's footsteps stop. Caleb and I exchanged looks as we sat frozen under the desk. I looked up, trying to listen to the man's actions. Then a gloved hand grabbed the edge of the desk and the man's bloody mask appeared in front of me. He stared at us and chuckled, "Found you." · · · Seven classmates find themselves in detention from breaking the rules at their school. This, of course, isn't their first time in detention but something seemed different. The teacher leaves to do something leaving the kids completely unsupervised which was kind of weird. He usually left some goody two shoes to watch them but this time there was no one except them. Creepy things begin to happen and they find themselves locked in the school. What was this?
