At the end of the universe is a binary star system called Trileynk which spins in the vast purple-blue space. A powerful and sentient galaxy which is swirled about in psychic energy, the Sun-father is Leynkilo and the Sun-mother is Triakela. The have five planets-children named Kirlyn, Hatreya, Layna, Nelelo, and Ravivus. Leynkilo and Triakela had created their planet-children one after another, and their 2nd child, their daughter Hatreya, was their favorite. She had a lush and vibrant surface filled with many races whom existed in something close to harmony.

And one day her harmony was shattered and her very surface began to die. It started with the
destruction of the great stone egg. 

The egg had existed in a stone cavern beneath the surface of Hatreya for eons, all but forgotten. When the egg cracked the purple mist emerged and killed everything it touched. It flowed through the cracks in the earth and made way to Hatreya's surface, killing all organic life it touched. And all that stood between that insentient doom was a child; a girl born from a falling star.
