Daunting Pasts (h.s)

Having a past was unbeatable, running from a past was difficult but having that past return was daunting. It was daunting knowing that, that past could take away everything she loved and bury it six feet underground.

She tried to outrun her past, but she became clumsy along the way and met a man. She felt the love that he gave her. One word was all it took. One mistake was the nail to her wound. One simple photo was the stake to her heart. A man who once again damaged her until there was nothing left to damage.

Although one special person came out of it and she did not regret it one bit. She welcomed it with open arms, because it was what would help her heal. Everything was perfect and she should have seen the signs sooner. Nothings perfect, because perfection only brought danger alongside it and it soon came barreling straight at her door. One simple knock and it was game over.
