A GUERRA CHEGOU AO OLíMPO!
Não houve aviso. Nenhuma pista de que um inimigo desconhecido estava reunindo um exército contra eles. Um exército cujo único objetivo era a destruição. Em um momento havia paz e no seguinte os Olímpicos lutavam por sua própria sobrevivência. Uma batalha sangrenta, brutal e totalmente inesperada. Mercúrio foi um dos primeiros a tombar e mesmo o poderoso Júpiter não conseguiu deter os inimigos.
Enquanto os Nirads, terríveis monstros cinzentos com quatro braços e pele resistente como o aço, destruíram o Olimpo e começavam a vencer a batalha, Pegasus fugiu para a Terra, mas foi seguido por Paelen, um Olímpico que desejava roubar as rédeas douradas do garanhão e estava quase conseguindo quando os dois foram atingidos por um raio.
Pegasus cai no terraço do prédio de Emily, uma garota de treze anos cuja vida jamais será a mesma. Ela terá que ajudar o garanhão alado a escapar dos terríveis Nirads e de uma agência governamental secreta que capturou Paelen e acha que alienígenas estão invadindo a Terra.
E,em meio a lutas incríveis e voos emocionantes, Emily contará com a ajuda de Joel, seu amigo de escola, do próprio Pegasus e de outras pessoas inesperadas e surpreendentes pata tentar encontrar a Chama escondida na Terra que poderá reacender o Fogo do Olimpo e salvar toda a humanidade.
