"Hey, Hemingway." "Don't call me that, Pretty Boy." And that was just the beginning of a new friendship. Or so it seemed. ××× Violet Adams was never popular. She had a small group of antisocial people she would occasionally talk to, but that was about it. She wasn't shy or anything. She just didn't like how unintelligent the people in her school were. They all thought that they were above "people like her". Except for Jacob Ambrose. Don't get me wrong, Jacob Ambrose is still an ignorant and egotistical asshole towards people. But he has a different relationship with Violet. He felt the need to have her. But he would never admit it. Violet keeps secrets from many people. She's trying to find information about her family while also investigating the disappearance of her best friend Izzy. Will Jacob be the key to her finding out answers? Or will he drag her into more secrets full of manipulation, deceit, and lies?
