Three abandoned little girls: Jadie, Lacy and Darcy are put into an orphanage. Their mother, Sapphire, recently died in a tragic house fire, and their father abandoned all of them years ago with no explanation. No note, no nothing. Or so they say... With no where to go, stuck in this hell hole of an orphanage, Jadie and Lacy and Darcy want to find out who their real father is. But where to start? For one, no one wants to adopt them. No one. They want another set of loving and caring parents, but yet at the same time they still can't accept the fact that their mother is really gone...Gone for good. They're scared that if all of them get adopted by someone, they feel as if they would be replacing their mother. Jadie, Lacy and Darcy are scared that they'll be split apart if they ever get adopted. What will happen? Will they get adopted? Will they find their father? Will their fear become a reality? If they find their father, will he accept the fact he has children and take his daughters home with him? Find out in:The Rebels Cry

Darcy Lemons was a girl that simply didn't have the life most kids her age had. She was sixteen, she lived in a crappy house, and she was raising her little sister as if she was her own child. Life just didn't have much in store for Darcy, especially since she never knew who her father was. When Darcy was four, she found out that her mother's boyfriend wasn't her father. Then it seemed her mother just got with every guy after that to cover up the fact that Darcy wanted to know the truth. On her sixteenth birthday, Darcy's mother came home from the hospital with a baby. She handed the baby to Darcy and said "happy birthday," and that was how the girl ended up with the child. Her mother was never home, and the one guy that her mother had been with that had even tried raising Darcy with some parental advice was in jail. So, similar to the lyrics quoted from that Young Jeezy song, "My momma ain't at home, and daddy still in jail," that was how her life was - except obviously, that man wasn't her real father, he just raised her for a bit, like a real father would, before he went to jail. Two months after Ariel was born, Darcy's mother moved them to a crappy house where Darcy knew absolutely no one and had no idea where anything was. Darcy was so stressed out, trying to get through school, raise a baby, and have enough money to pay for both of them. The only bright side was that her mother paid rent and utilities with her disability checks every month. Darcy was growing more and more tired of the terrible situations her mother was putting them in. She needed to fix things and give the baby a better life than she ever had. The only problem was, she wanted to find our who her father was first. She just hadn't expected the one man who everyone knew as a playboy would be her father...

I'm not here to write a romance with a happy ending, I'm writing to prove life isn't always perfect, in most cases it never is, especially when it comes to love. This is to prove that no matter how hard life gets, don't give up, don't push people away, stand up and show whoever or what ever it is that you aren't going to let them or it hinder who you are. Life is precious and we need to live it as we want to be, not as other people want us to be. Jane has been an outcast her entire life, she was orphaned at a young age and grew up without a family. When she turned 11, the Mavery's adopted her, for the past 6 years of her life she's been stuck living in their attic. They don't treat her like part of the family. Her stuck up step-mother Ana only ever points out her flaws, and Neal her step-father doesn't stop her. You'd think that would be enough to drive anyone over the edge, but now add the little 'brats' that torment her constantly. Cortlyn and Oscar. Cortlyn has always been jealous of Jane and her friendship with Adam, the boy next door. Oscar actually likes having another sister, but he always sides with his twin, he'd never admit to it. And Adam? He loves Jane, like loves, loves Jane, but of course she's completely clueless, after all it is her best friend...her only friend. But the real trouble starts when Jane finally stands up for her self, what's this crazy family going to do to her next? Like I said before life isn't perfect, you never know what's going to be thrown your way, neither does Jane.
