Chicago in the year of 1947, during a dark time of turmoil and bloody war.
Two years after World War II has ended, some inhabitants of Chicago are still scarred from their days spent in the war while others are drunks or low lives while mostly anybody else is the "average" citizen. Tony Lentini, the mob boss of the Chicago mafia, stands true as he conquers most of Chicago, slowly dominating every street with an iron fist and fools with guns following his lead. His loyal henchmen firmly hold their ground, and his most vicious mobster is a former Nazi named Harvey Frantz, which is the only one he could consider his best friend if he ever had one. A legendary detective Ron keeps the streets of Chicago safe from criminals, and his gaze focuses on his biggest case perhaps of his life which is taking down a fearsome crook that has the police living in terror. Pastor Abelard, leader of a group titled as "God's Disciples," attempts to remove all the sins from the city with a bible in one hand and a gun in the other. Meanwhile something strange, shady, and more dangerous than the small gangs that own their territory lurks in the shadows as Tony's reign may be close to an end as the past returns to haunt him.
With the city of Chicago about to erupt into chaos, who shall stand in the end? The fate of Chicago lays in the hands of all the most rotten, foul, murderous people on the face of the planet. Ironic, isn't it?
