Shakisha has always felt alone. Ever since her brother was taken from her, she has been abused by her dad. After moving around to different towns, they end up in Granby, Colorado, where everyone is not who they seem. She ends up being friends with some people, including a boy named Tyler, but will she be able to trust him once she finds out what he's been hiding?
