Immortality is not a gift, it is a curse. Atleast, that's how Rae feels about it. Over the past 1000 years, she had watched anyone she cared about wither away and die in her arms, over and over again. She never knew what she was, she just woke up one day with no memory, but she knew she was dangerous to humans and did her best to just stay away from them to avoid causing them harm. She eventually meets the X Men and Professor Xavier helps her control her abilities so she can use them for good to help the humans. For years, she battles side by side with the X Men and becomes Xavier's prodigy and pride and joy. He was the brother she never had. But even he grew old and fragile...
After her mentor is gone, the X Men just isn't the same and she leaves them to find a new adventure. After finding a note from Xavier, she is led to none other than Tony Stark. Even though her heart is tired of grieving for the mortals she cares for, she can't help but fall in love with the Avengers team and chooses to stay in Stark Tower. She never thought she would meet any one else like her, a truly old soul, until an Asgardian God pops in for a visit...

A Tale of Mischief and Mutants
When Samantha a mutant and X-man is rescued from her captors by S.H.I.E.L.D she finds comfort from an unlikely source. This story follows the relationship between my OC Samantha Howlett and everyone's favorite Jotun Loki Odinson. This is an AU where the X-men have existed in the MCU since the very beginning they are involved in the events that take place in the MCU such as the battle of New York and other "Avengers level threats." In this AU Thor Ragnarok goes down slightly differently with Thor loosing his hammer when he falls from the bifrost instead of it being broken by Hela. He finds it later and figures out its no match for Hela. Thor then goes to forge Stormbreaker which is also not strong enough and he's forced to allow Ragnarok to take place. Thanos is killed prior to 2018 so he never gets the infinity stones and most of the events in Infinity War and Endgame do not occur. In this AU Spider-Man has a public identity now and everyone's knows Peter Parker is Spider-Man. He didn't flip out like he does in the movies because Tony is there to help him through it. Magic works slightly differently than it does in the movies because I wrote this before some of the rules with it were established and it's too late to change it now for story reasons. There are also other differences that luckily can be explained away via the multiverse. Though I try to draw a lot of inspiration from the main MCU timeline and work with the continuity that gives me it's not always possible to do because of how this story needs to play out. TRIGGER WARNINGS: Strong language, violence, some sexual content (honestly not much more than a PG-13 movie would show) mentions and descriptions of physical abuse and sexual abuse.
