Under the Ice and Snow

Medina loved history. More specifically, she loved her people's history.

It told of love, kindness, and peace. Of beasts and creatures she could hardly imagine that lived together with people. And of Cities that sparkled more than water. Her mind raced at the thought. But what she loved the most was the magic.

Her reality was the completely opposite. People were rude and cruel, whatever animals they could find were just beasts for food, and their City was cold, sick, and on the brink of extinction.

All she wanted was to find the magic under the Ice and snow. Instead, she was thrown into it, a*s first.
