He breaks out of his family's apartment to go searching for her, and meets a boy called Phil Lester; who can not only see Dan's cat, but has a cat of his own. They move in together as adults, and live a harmonious life. Dan thinks everything is perfect, but he doesn't know that Phil's mental health has taken a turn for the worse. Little does Phil know, Dan is quickly losing control of his life. Read this book to go on this adventure with Dan and Phil. (Will mostly be written in Dan's POV) WARNINGS: This story will have very triggering content that deals with self harm, depression, self hatred, anorexia, abuse, harsh language, bullying, mentions of rape, bulimia, and anxiety. Please be careful reading my book and I am always here to talk if you need it. Also, Dan is shorter in this book, about 5'9" cause I have a thing with height.

Dan gets saved from an oncoming truck that would have taken his life if he wasn't pulled back at the last second. After being saved he suddenly can see numbers floating above everyone he passes by and quickly figured out that those numbers represent the lifespan of that person counting down in seconds. He finds someone who's numbers are lower than everyone else's and realizes he is going to die within a couple of hours. He choices to stay with him as he watches the numbers count down, and hopefully by the time those numbers reach 0, he will be able to stop whatever is going to kill him and save his life.
