I saw him coming towards me and I started freaking out. He had a silver knife with him. I wasted no time in running away from him. But, he caught me and got his weapon positioning it to my heart.
I knew i was going to die today. I knew that he would never glance at me even if i was dying. I knew he would not remember me even if i were to live after this. I knew that I would never make him happy even if i survive after this. I knew that I was never the mate he wanted.
King Andrew glanced my way and we made an eye contact. I was happy that at least before dying i was able to look into his eyes. He might not have looked at me with love but the king looking at me was enough for me to give away my life.
The knife was moved to my stomach by my attacker and with one push he got it into my body.
The knife went deep into the place just above my stomach. I gave one last glance to the king and the darkness opened its arms for me.
Fate played with me when they made me the great king's mate but, i never cursed them. Fate played with me when i got to know that he didn't want me but, i never cried. even now fate is playing with me and I'm dying but, i wouldn't complain because i want to see him happy and his happiness is not with me.
I promise my mate that if we were to meet in next birth, I'll make you happy. I promise you that I'll make you proud of having me . But, i can only keep my promise if my fate doesn't betray me like it did now.
